The Kohima Band and Corps of Drums of the 3rd Battalion The Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment is a Territorial Army Band based in Canterbury.

They take on many engagements throughout the year in the form of Parades, Concerts and Royal events in the southern counties and are often asked to undertake engagements in mainland Europe.

We are Territorial Army musicians who are employed on a part time basis. Members of the Band and Drums come from a range of civilian employment such as professional musician, Telephone engineer, Postman, Landscape Gardener, School Teacher, Sales Representative and Students to name just a few.

We are a Military Band. This term applies to Bands, both military and civilian, that have the instrumental combination of Woodwind, Brass and Percussion.

The Band performs approximately 45 engagements per year, mainly in the United Kingdom.

The Band rehearses in Canterbury every Wednesday evening, and one Sunday morning each month.

The Band also has a two week annual camp to hone its musical skills. The last few camps were:
